Fundamentals of Teaching Primary Mathematics

A one-day professional development for teachers in a school in Surabaya that uses New Syllabus Primary Mathematics. Jointly organised by Shinglee Publishers Singapore and Pelangi Indonesia. This is standard one-day course where I focus on theoretical underpinnings of good mathematics programmes.

It was titled Nurturing and Developing 21st Century Problem-Solving Skills and was held at a teacher education college - Unuversitas Katolika Widya Mandara and was attended by more than 120 teachers from 57 schools.

A half-day workshop for Hwa Chong Institution on problem-solving approach in secondary mathematics for the entire mathematics department comprising slightly more than a dozen teachers.

A half-day workshop on Activity-Based Lesson for professionals in textbook publishing business was held in Singapore. It was attended by about 30 participants.

The three-day signature course (25.26.27) attended by more than 100 teachers and a two-day (28.29) professional development for teachers for more than 100 teachers from NCETM's High Quality Textbook Trial Project have been lined up.

(Thailand) have made it a point to meet with me once a year when my schedule permits. This year, I will meet them for two days to discuss mathematics teaching and learning. This is a private event.
